Unbelievable O'Shannon Cookie Bars

OShannon, I love your cookie bars. Oh, those gooey chewy crispy chocolaty cookie bars. Oh, the kind of cookies dreams are made of. These cookies have a lot going on with the crispiness and the chewiness; they tease your taste pallet. With chocolate, peanuts and peanut butter they resolve your craving for these delectable human food needs.

This recipe came to me by my daughter in law, Shannon. During the Christmas holidays my wife, daughter in law and grandchildren get together and spend two or three days baking cookies for the Christmas holidays. This has been a tradition in our family since Shannon became part of our family many years ago. Actually this has been a tradition in my wifes family as long as she can remember, starting with her grandmother. Shannons favorite Christmas cookie is her OShannon bars, so goes the name I gave them. Actually Shannons personality is not unlike her cookie bars. She is sweet through and through with many textures and surprises hidden in each bite and a little crispiness on the outside.

OShannon bars would be an excellent cookie to make any time of the year. Dont wait until Christmas to try these cookies. OShannon cookie bars are a no-bake cookie, so they would be a good cookie to make in the summer. There is no need to heat up the whole kitchen by turning on the oven. OShannon bars are a quick and easy cookie to make.

The next time you have a craving for chocolate and peanut butter, give these cookies a try. You can change the recipe around to suit anyones taste. You will love Shannons cookie bars too.
